PropLinker (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates proplinker.co and provides a platform that helps real estate brokers convert Instagram Reels into shareable property listings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
By using PropLinker, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in via Instagram (Meta), we receive your Instagram profile name, profile picture, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive your Instagram password.
1.2 Content You Provide
When you create a property listing, we collect and store:
- The Instagram Reel URL you submit
- Property details you enter (price, location, area, highlights, description)
- Contact information you add to your listing (WhatsApp number, phone, email)
- Audio transcripts generated from your reel
1.3 Lead Data
When a visitor submits an enquiry on your public property page, we collect their name, contact information (phone or email), and any notes they provide. This data is stored and made available to you (the broker) via your dashboard.
1.4 Usage Data
We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security and service improvement purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the PropLinker platform
- To generate transcripts from your video content using AI services
- To create and host your public property listing pages
- To deliver lead enquiries to your dashboard
- To authenticate your account via Instagram OAuth
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates
- To improve and develop our services
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate PropLinker:
Meta (Instagram)
Used for authentication. Governed by Meta's Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Google Gemini AI
Used to transcribe audio from your reels and extract property details. Audio data is processed by Google and subject to Google's AI terms at ai.google.dev/terms.
yt-dlp
An open-source tool used server-side to download video content from URLs you submit. No data is sent to third parties via this tool.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. Video files are stored on our servers temporarily for processing and are accessible via a private URL tied to your listing.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With third-party service providers listed above, solely to operate our platform
- If required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of PropLinker or its users
6. Public Property Pages
When you publish a listing, it becomes accessible via a public URL (e.g. proplinker.co/l/your-slug). The property details, transcript, and contact links you add to that listing are visible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content you publish.
Lead enquiries submitted via your public listing page are stored by us and delivered to your dashboard. Leads are associated with your account and are not shared with other brokers.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Lead data is retained until you delete it from your dashboard. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@proplinker.co.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
- Data portability where applicable

9. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication purposes. These are necessary for the platform to function and cannot be opted out of while using the service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Children's Privacy
PropLinker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
